VF Corporation reported a net income of $285.3 million for the second quarter, significantly outpacing analyst expectations. The company’s quarterly earnings reached 71 cents a share, comfortably beating the 54-cent consensus forecast from FactSet analysts. The North Face, the firm's largest revenue driver, posted a 4% increase, matching the growth rate seen at Timberland. Additionally, the Altra brand surged by more than 40%, a performance Chief Executive Bracken Darrell attributed to aggressive product innovation and effective brand storytelling.

Despite a 10% decline in overall Vans revenue, the label reached a critical milestone as its global direct-to-consumer sales returned to growth for the first time in nearly five years. With performance metrics exceeding internal guidance for the period, leadership has chosen to maintain its financial outlook for the remainder of the fiscal year.
