The company’s revenue climbed to 178.68 billion yen for the six months ending September 30, up from 163.76 billion yen during the same period in 2025. However, rising costs placed significant pressure on the bottom line. Operating profit fell to 13.56 billion yen from 19.15 billion yen a year earlier, while pretax profit dropped to 13.55 billion yen from 18.94 billion yen.
Shareholders saw earnings per share decrease to 139.26 yen, down from 168.81 yen in the previous year. The divergence between growing sales and shrinking margins suggests a challenging environment for the Tokyo-based firm as it navigates the remainder of the fiscal year.
