The offering involves 1.9 billion shares priced at 1.08 ringgit each, consisting of 1.3 billion existing shares and 590.5 million newly issued ones. The company anticipates raising 637.8 million ringgit from the new shares, with nearly 90% of those proceeds earmarked to settle outstanding debt. Remaining capital will fund a new distribution center and cover listing expenses.

Big Caring intends to maintain an aggressive growth trajectory, opening 40 to 50 new pharmacies annually over the next three to five years. Chief Executive Lee Meng Chuan confirmed the firm is exploring potential acquisitions to bolster its footprint while keeping a disciplined approach to target selection. The IPO has already drawn significant institutional support, securing 19 cornerstone investors including Eastspring Investments and abrdn Malaysia. This listing follows a period of heightened activity in the Malaysian healthcare sector, driven by increasing patient demand and robust capital market interest.
