The Milwaukee-based firm reported quarterly revenue of $455.8 million, failing to meet the $459 million consensus forecast from Wall Street analysts. While the result improved upon the $412.1 million generated in the same period last year, the growth—driven by price hikes and increased volume—fell short of market targets.
Profitability metrics told a different story. Sensient posted earnings of $1.13 per share, surpassing the $1.09 anticipated by FactSet analysts and significantly outpacing the 87 cents per share reported in the third quarter of last year. Bolstered by these margins, the company raised its full-year earnings guidance to a range of $4.15 to $4.20 per share.
