NYSE expands tokenized trading network with four new partners

The New York Stock Exchange has recruited Broadridge, Computershare, Equiniti, and Superstate to its developing blockchain-based platform. By adding these firms as transfer-agent partners, the exchange aims to bridge traditional shareholder recordkeeping with 24/7 digital trading, instant settlement, and stablecoin-based funding for future U.S.-listed equities and ETFs.

NYSE expands tokenized trading network with four new partners

The four new entities join existing partners Securitize and tZERO, bringing the exchange’s transfer-agent network to six firms. This collaboration integrates legacy service providers—which currently support nearly 5,000 public companies, including 99% of the S&P 500—with blockchain-focused infrastructure specialists. The platform intends to facilitate both issuer-sponsored tokenized securities and third-party custodial tokens, ensuring holders retain standard dividends and governance rights.

Despite the expanded network, the exchange has not disclosed a launch date or a list of initial securities. The project remains subject to pending regulatory approval. When operational, the venue will function independently of the traditional NYSE market, utilizing the exchange’s existing Pillar matching engine alongside blockchain technology for post-trade processing. NYSE Group President Lynn Martin emphasized that the initiative remains focused on upholding market integrity throughout the transition to continuous, round-the-clock trading.
