H2O Retailing Profits Surge as Net Income More Than Doubles

The Osaka-based retailer saw its revenue edge up slightly to 333.34 billion yen, a marginal gain from the 333.02 billion yen recorded in 2025. Operating profit followed a similar upward trajectory, climbing to 13.73 billion yen from 11.86 billion yen a year earlier. Pretax profit also strengthened, rising to 14.81 billion yen from 12.41 billion yen.

Earnings per share rose to 131.29 yen, up from 57.70 yen in the previous year, while diluted earnings reached 130.13 yen. These results, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, highlight a period of heightened efficiency for the company even as top-line figures remained largely stagnant.
