The company’s preferred metric, results from current operations before depreciation and amortization, reached 1.62 billion euros. This 8% year-on-year increase surpassed the 1.57 billion euros anticipated by analysts. RBC Capital Markets analyst Anthony Codling attributed the strength of the quarter specifically to the group’s robust performance across European markets.
Looking toward the end of the year, Heidelberg Materials maintained its outlook for operating results between 3.40 billion and 3.65 billion euros. Beyond these immediate figures, the company is doubling down on efficiency. Having already targeted 500 million euros in savings by year-end, the group announced a new goal to capture an additional 300 million euros in cost reductions through 2028. J.P. Morgan analysts noted that both the quarterly beat and the expanded savings plan provide a clear path for margin improvement.
