The transition marks a shift in the executive suite for the rare disease-focused biopharmaceutical firm. Rote, who has been with Travere since 2017, receives credit from CEO Eric Dube for helping steer the company toward its current position in the therapeutic market. His departure leaves a significant vacancy in the research division, which Inrig is now slated to fill.
Inrig joined the company in 2022 to spearhead clinical development and operations. Her background includes a tenure as the global head of the Renal Center of Excellence at Iqvia, where she oversaw programs centered on regulatory approvals for kidney disease treatments. By merging the medical and research departments under her guidance, Travere aims to streamline its development pipeline and maintain its focus on rare disease interventions.
