Dahiya transitions to the energy storage firm from BlackRock’s Direct Private Opportunities group. His tenure there focused on structured financing for infrastructure, private credit, and energy projects. Prior to BlackRock, he held senior capital markets positions at firms including Paulson & Co., Nomura, and the combined Lehman Brothers and Barclays entity.
He replaces Michael Beer, who departs the company to pursue other professional interests. Robert Piconi, chairman and CEO of Energy Vault, noted that the move is intended to bolster the company’s capital formation capabilities and drive long-term value for shareholders. Energy Vault currently manages a portfolio of utility-scale storage solutions and AI compute infrastructure supported by its proprietary energy management software.
