The company’s bottom line improved from the $250.3 million, or $4.72 per share, recorded during the same period last year. Net sales climbed 4.7% to $1.24 billion, bolstered by a 3% organic growth rate and an additional $11.5 million contribution from recent acquisitions. Favorable foreign currency translation also provided a lift to the final tally.
While the core tool business saw sustained momentum, the company's financial services arm, Snap-on Credit, faced a slight downturn in revenue. Despite this segment’s performance, the overall financial footprint remains robust, with total revenue figures comfortably exceeding the $1.22 billion forecast projected by FactSet analysts.
